When our friends reached out and let us know that they were going to reopen the old Death or Glory restaurant and take it back to its previous name and style we were excited to be a part of the project.\u00a0 There was a sign in place that included backlighting.\u00a0 We just needed to replace the whole panel in a way that we could allow the light to come through to light the sign.\u00a0 We decided that we could do a full-painted panel with acrylic lettering in a way that the light would be allowed through.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/div>We took a full acrylic panel and cut out where the letters and logo would be.\u00a0 We then used 1″ thick clear acrylic that was cut to match the lettering and logo.\u00a0 These pieces were pushed through the panel from the back and glued.\u00a0 Then we took 1\/4″ thick colored acrylic that was cut to match the lettering and logo and glued these pieces on top of the clear.\u00a0 This would allow the light to come through the panel and give a glow-like look to the letters and logo.<\/p>\n
